Review

This was my first time buying an Arda Wig but I’ve heard very wonderful reviews for it. After I had a very horrible experience with an ebay wig I decided to invest in an Arda. My Arda wig was purchased on Cyber Monday during their $6.00 off sale. Fortunately that covered most of my shipping expense. (Mine came out to about $7.00 shipping) so I paid $41.00 for this wig in total.  This was the most I’ve invested in a wig however, I previously owned a $11.00 Ebay wig from China for my Korra cosplay and it was horrendous. I hated wearing my cosplay with that wig. It was ill fitting, the fibers were thin and it tangled extremely easily and didn’t hold into a ponytail well.

The Jeannie by Arda is one of the more popular Arda wigs for Korra, along with the Jasmine wig because they’re both in ponytail styles when purchased.

Shipping and Customer Service

Shipping was extremely fast, it shipped within 24 hours and it was at my door two days later. Customer service was wonderful and Arda wigs is easily contacted through their Facebook page or email.

It comes in two separate bags, one holds the base wig which is pulled into a tightly wrapped ponytail and the other bag is the ponytail clip. The ponytail clip is extremely long so you definitely get your money’s worth when you order this wig.

Fit

Arda wigs are known for their fit. They run pretty large so if your head size is under 22inches than the wig will be too loose, however there are tutorials online on how to take the wig in and fit your head better. I have a rather large head and super thick curly hair so the wig fits perfectly without me having to do pin curls under my wig cap or without wearing two wig caps.

Style
Since this was for my Korra cosplay I had to stub the wig and it was easy to part, adn style. It holds product easily and can take a lot of heat. The fibers stayed intack without melting. if you need more wefts for the wig you can purchase them through Arda and get the exact same color (epsically if you need an unnatural color)

Color

It comes in a nice rich dark brown that matches perfectly to Korra’s hair color. However, if you’re cosplaying a character that has a more unnatural color and you’re not sure how well the picture on the website matches the character Arda also sells color samples for $0.25 + shipping.

Quality and Wig

It was such a soft wig with lots of fibers! If you pull down the ponytail on the base wig it’s a very volumous medium length wig. (Sadly I had to stub the wig afterward) it was very easy to brush and to style.

I adore this wig and it’ll be my first of many Arda-Wigs, I rather save my pennies and invest in a really good wig than to buy a cheap ebay wig, especially for a harder style of hair, such as Korra. I’ll give Arda-Wigs a 10 out of 10! Please check them out at Arda-Wigs.com and keep a look out for sales and discount codes.
